1.) Define the term “Moral Maturity”

Moral maturity is based on your attitude throughout your whole life. it shows if you know what is right from wrong. their are 3 stages of moral development. 1 being the lowest level of maturity and 3 being the highest.

2.) Read the following article:

http://www.smh.com.au/news/national/knife-arrest-cop-pelted/2008/03/24/1206206967590.html

Discuss the reasons why the 25 year old man mentioned in the article would be regarded as having a lack of ‘moral maturity’.

this man clearly shows a lack of moral maturity as he does not abide by the law and commiting many serious offences such as malicious damage, assaulting police and resisting arrest. he also shows very little respect for the police as he angrily spat on them.

3.) Identify the differences between ‘morality’ and ‘immorality’.

    The Rabbits

     BriefCase 21

    Vectors/Reading Paths

The double page spread that struck me the most was  an image with rabbits pointing at the land they were soon to invade and take away from the wombats.

     Symbols/Motifs

One of the DPS’s shows a giant statue of a rabbit which tells us that the rabbits (brittish settlers) have now taken over the land. On that same DPS it shows a large ammount of rabbits standing in the background which lets us know that they are now in control of the land. The colours are very dull which expresses the pain and sorrow that the wobats (Aboriginals) had to go through.

    BriefCase 23

    Informational value

The informational value that I gained from reading the rabbits is how poorly the aboriginals were treated just because of their colour, and how the brittish invaded the land and unfairly took the land away from the aboriginals.

    Scalience/Framing

A frame on the bottom left side of the DPS is used to seperate an image from the rest of the page, it is very noticable as it has been majourly seperated from the rest of the page.
